Hello HMS/HHS students!

My name is Shandra Jessop, and I am so excited to start working with a wide variety of students in Hamilton School District. I have worked in the district since January of 2019, and have found the culture of Hamilton to be an amazing student-centered environment. I am a mom to two wonderful children, Tim and Alice! I have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, where I studied specifically print and photography. I worked in that field for a few years before I made the decision to follow my passion and become a teacher! I obtained my Master's in Secondary English/Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Montana in 2018. Go Griz! I am a hands-on learner, and like to incorporate projects as an effective way to promote higher order thinking. I'm so excited to engage in the learning process with you!
