After growing up in the Bitterroot Valley, I became a B.M.E and M.M.E. graduate of the University of Montana in Missoula.  As a trombone player, I participated in the UM Symphonic Band, Jazz Band I, Grizzly Marching Band and Pep Band.  Upon graduation, I returned to the Bitterroot Valley and have been teachng instrumental music for almost 30 years.  My wife and I enjoy camping and fishng, as well as our German Shepherds.
