Masks required within our schools

Face Masks Required

Please take a moment to read this message from our Superintendent

To: The Hamilton School District Community

As many of you have heard, Governor Gianforte will release a directive on Friday, February 12th lifting the state-wide mask mandate.  While masks will no longer be required in public spaces, as directed by the Board of Trustees, Hamilton School District will continue to require masks within its schools

Maintaining the District’s masking policy is necessary to respect our families’ decisions to enroll their children in either virtual or in-person learning during the current academic quarter.  Because the COVID-19 pandemic presents an ever-changing set of circumstances, the Board of Trustees will re-evaluate the District’s mask policy ahead of the 4th academic quarter.

Thank you for your efforts to keep our District open to in-person learning this academic year.  I appreciate the trust and respect this community has shown our District staff and look forward to serving our students as we navigate these extraordinary times together.

- Tom Korst, Superintendent
